2026 Mustang Mach-E

The electric vehicle market is rapidly evolving, with automakers developing new models that redefine what buyers know about EVs. However, few models manage to bridge the gap between historic performance heritage and futuristic engineering quite like the 2026 Ford Mustang Mach-E.
Built for drivers who refuse to compromise on driving dynamics, the Mustang Mach-E is Ford’s definitive answer to the growing demand for an all-electric SUV that delivers sports-car-like handling with everyday utility.
The Mustang Mach-E appeals to tech-savvy buyers, EV enthusiasts, and eco-conscious shoppers who crave a sustainable yet exhilarating drive. By combining the iconic pony car DNA of the original Mustang with zero emissions, the 2026 lineup offers a diverse range of configurations tailored to distinct driving needs.
Whether you’re drawn to it as an efficient, long-range highway cruiser or a high-powered, track-ready machine, this all-electric SUV redefines what it means to drive an EV.
Trims

The Mustang Mach-E Select
For shoppers who want all the benefits of this powerful, performance-ready EV without straining their budget, the Select trim is the perfect choice. With a starting price of $37,795, this trim is affordable without sacrificing essential features.[a]
The Select includes Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, allowing you to connect your smartphone for hands-free driving seamlessly. It also features a 10.2-inch cluster display alongside a massive, 15.5-inch center display to easily see everything from music to navigation.
As a bonus, the Mustang Mach-E Select includes the Phone As a Key feature, so you never have to worry about forgetting your keys. You’ll have easy access directly from your smartphone.
The Mustang Mach-E Premium
One of the most popular trim choices, this middle-tier option allows you to get more upgraded features without a massive increase in the price tag. Starting at $40,595, the Premium trim level includes desirable amenities like heated and ventilated front seats and a B&O sound system for optimal audio quality.[a]
The Mustang Mach-E GT
For drivers seeking a thrilling ride, the GT trim delivers. Starting at $53,395, this high-powered option makes you feel like you’re driving down the track every time you get behind the wheel.[a]
The GT includes an upgraded eAWD system for faster acceleration, increased traction, and sportier rear-based handling. Brembo front brakes are included for maximum stopping power, while Ford Performance front seats keep you firmly in place during every turn.
The Mustang Mach-E Rally
If you’re an adventure seeker looking for a high-powered vehicle to keep up with your lifestyle, the Rally trim is the ideal choice. For a starting price of $57,690, you’ll enjoy features like a Rallycross-tuned MagneRide damping system designed to adjust shock stiffness in real time so you can effortlessly glide over dirt, gravel, and loose terrain without losing stability.[a]
The Rally comes equipped with Michelin CrossClimate2 all-season performance tires, which provide exceptional traction in all weather conditions.
Performance

Long-Range Batteries
While motor setups may vary depending on the specific Mach-E trim and configuration you choose, each one offers an impressive range so you can travel farther on a single charge.
The Select and Premium trim levels are both available with either a Standard Range battery or an Extended Range battery.
With rear-wheel drive (RWD), the standard battery reaches an EPA-estimated 260 miles and takes an estimated 7.8 hours to fully charge with a 48-amp charger and 240V outlet. In comparison, the eAWD with standard-range offers a maximum EPA-estimated 240 miles and a slightly shorter charging time of 7.7 hours.
If you prefer a longer range, the extended-range battery is available with eAWD. This option reaches an EPA-estimated 300 miles on a single charge.
The GT and Rally Trim levels feature an extended-range battery only. Both take 9.9 hours to charge with a 48-amp charger and a 240V outlet fully. Where they differ, however, is in their total range. While the GT trim offers an EPA-estimated 280 miles, the Rally has a maximum of 255 miles on a single charge.
Because the GT and Rally trims are performance-based, the powertrains focus more on current to produce higher torque, leading to lower mileage.
Horsepower and Torque
Power levels for the 2026 model year are engineered across a wide spectrum to fit a variety of driving preferences. RWD models utilize a single electric motor mounted on a rear axle to produce either 264 horsepower with the standard-range battery or 272 horsepower with the extended-range battery, along with 387 lb-ft of torque.
The eAWD drive configuration adds a secondary electric motor to the front axle, boosting output to 325 horsepower with a standard-range battery and 370 horsepower with an extended-range battery. This option also sees an upgrade in torque, boasting an impressive 500 lb-ft.
For more power under the hood, the GT and Rally trim levels deliver with standard, dual-motor eAWD systems that churn out an incredible amount of power. Both engines feature a whopping 480 horsepower. The GT trim comes standard with an impressive 600 lb-ft of torque. However, you can select the Mach-E GT Performance Upgrade to jump up to 700 lb-ft of torque, which is what the Rally comes standard with.
Specialized Drive Modes
Your drive may differ from day to day, which is why the 2026 Mustang Mach-E is equipped with multiple distinct driving modes that alter key driving features like throttle sensitivity, ambient lighting, steering weight, and simulated exhaust noise.
- Whisper Mode: Optimizes efficiency and delivers a calm, smooth ride ideal for heavy driving or relaxed long drives. The throttle response is softened for smoother acceleration, steering is lightened, and it introduces more coasting when you release the pedal. To set the mood, display and ambient lighting are changed to a soft blue.
- Engage Mode: Balances crisp acceleration and responsive steering with comfortable ride metrics, making it perfectly versatile for everyday commuting and driving.
- Unbridled Mode: Unlocks an aggressive power deployment, built for exhilarating performance. The throttle response is sharpened, giving the steering a firmer, sportier feel. The interior lighting is changed to orange to reflect the bolder driving dynamics, and interior driving sounds are also activated.
- Unbridled Extended Mode: Switch into track driving with Unbridled Extended, available only on the GT trim level. This drive mode balances the power output and eAWD system to prevent overheating during spirited driving.
- RallySport Mode: Provides optimal performance and vehicle control. Ideal for difficult driving conditions, this Rally trim-exclusive mode adjusts throttle mapping and suspension for better command over the vehicle in less-than-ideal conditions.
Design

A Spacious Interior
While the 2026 Ford Mustang Mach-E embodies the spirit of a classic pony car, it delivers the utility demanded by growing families and weekend adventure seekers. Its five-passenger cabin features ample headroom and legroom across both rows, thanks to the absence of the transmission tunnel running through the floor that traditional powered vehicles must make room for.
Passenger space isn’t the only priority in this SUV; with convenient storage solutions and a massive cargo area, you’ll also have plenty of room for all your belongings. Behind the 60/40 split-folding second row, you will find 29.7 cu.ft. of cargo space, allowing you to easily transport groceries, luggage, or sports gear. For larger items, simply fold the rear seats flat to optimize your storage with an incredible 59.7 cu.ft. of space.
The storage innovation doesn’t end there. Pop the hood where a traditional engine would typically sit, and you’ll discover a drainable front trunk. This insulated, lockable front storage area features integrated cup holders and a built-in drain plug, making it perfect for everything from serving as a portable cooler to storing wet swimsuits or muddy hiking boots.
Advanced Integrated Technology
Each Mustang Mach-E is equipped with incredible technology inclusions that make every drive easier and more enjoyable. You can do more than ever before with Ford’s SYNC 4 infotainment system, which brings next-generation technology right to your fingertips.
SYNC 4 offers:
- Wireless Connectivity: Seamlessly connect your smartphone for a hands-free drive.
- Cloud-Based Voice Control: Do everything from finding destinations and making calls to changing the temperature with just the sound of your voice.
- Over-the-Air Updates: Updates automatically happen in the background, allowing for continuous function improvement and added features without the hassle of dealing with system resets or dealership trips.
- Cloud Navigation: Receive real-time traffic, weather, and construction updates for an informed drive, every time.
